While our productions are nationwide, we are headquartered in Los Angeles, California. First Option teams are responsible to envision, develop, script-write, establish timelines, direct, talent manage, record the event and over-see live shows. Our teams have produced and been in charge of Conventions, Conferences, Corporate Gatherings, Brand Activations, Award Events, Panels, Forums, Virtual Engagements, small Concerts, and upscale Fashion Events.

As a Lead Producer and Run-of-Show Manager Dawan began in "the industry" as a volunteer with the Los Angeles based non-profit organization, AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), at the time, partnering with Earvin "Magic" Johnson in an NBA All-Star Weekend Celebrity Fashion Show. His continual rise went from Project Coordinator, Stage Manager, Project Manager to Producer and Technical Director. Years of great experiences have allowed Dawan to work with Halle Berry, Oprah Winfrey, Louis Vuitton, Samuel L. Jackson, Will Smith, Nike, Suze Orman, Beyonce & Jay-Z, the late Kobe Bryant and more. Paula began accumulating her production experiences on Hollywood sound stages and red carpets while working as an entertainment reporter/producer for BET and KABC, followed by an assignment as film and TV segment producer for NBC's 'Access Hollywood'. Prior to her career as a television broadcaster and producer, Paula's creative talents found the perfect expression when her fashion career took her throughout Europe as a high-fashion model. The outcome of Paula's global experience has resulted in her becoming a savvy Live Event Producer, now with over 18 years as managing partner of First Option Entertainment.
